London VMUG July 2022 Preview #LonVMUG

The London VMware User Group is coming back in person on Thursday 7th July 2022. Here’s a quick preview.

The London VMware User Group meeting hasn’t been held in-person since January 2020 (an event I missed as I was elsewhere!) but next week sees the return of the in-person event at the TechUK venue in London, with an hybrid online option for those who can’t make it. There was an opportunity to bump into each other (in a socially distanced way) at the UK VMUG event last November but the team have held off on the more local event until now.

As always the agenda has a mix of sessions, with speakers coming from VMware itself and also the community. It’s the norm for VMUG events to provide plenty of variety and next week looks like no exception. As the VMware product portfolio and it’s surrounding ecosystem has grown over the years there are plenty of different topics to cover and I enjoy hearing about the technologies I use day-to-day alongside those I’m less familiar with.

The Agenda

The subjects on the list for the July meeting include artificial intelligence, vSphere Auto Deploy, analysing cyber-attacks, the VCDX certification, and using Elasticsearch with NSX logs. Plenty to learn about here, and opportunity to widen your knowledge. And of course there’s promise of a #vBeer or two at the end if those brain cells need relaxing after all that.
